ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Rae.

My name is Rae Davidson, and I am the Founder and Principal of Mission Raised. From fundraising strategy to board training, my job is to help your organization grow its capacity for impact.
I am a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and experienced nonprofit leader providing professional consulting services to mission-driven organizations in Washington, D.C., and beyond. Most recently, I served Martha's Table in the nation's capital as its Co-Interim President & CEO and Chief Development Officer. At Martha's Table, I was responsible for the overall strategy, impact, and culture of an organization committed to fostering equity and opportunity for children and families. As the head of its Development and Communications departments, I was charged with advancing the resources and reputation of a fast-growing organization. During my six-year tenure, the organization's annual operating budget doubled in size. This growth was made possible by a commitment to values-driven leadership and sustainable solutions.
Prior to Martha's Table, I served in development and guest services positions with Ford’s Theatre Society, the Shakespeare Theatre Company, and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. I hold an Executive Master in Policy Leadership from Georgetown University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
